Jon Fuenmayor scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claretiano FC's Birila Graña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 26th minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Birila Graña. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Claretiano FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. Claretiano FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
