Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Matias Txeru kicked off to start the match. Duffensores Springfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Duffensores Springfield's Cleto Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Duffensores Springfield's Cleto Walme managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Txeru in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Txeru in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 43rd minute of play forced Duffensores Springfield's goalkeeper Cleto Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Duffensores Springfield's Matias Txeru got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Matias Txeru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duffensores Springfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Txeru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cleto Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Salvador Aresti hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cleto Walme made a huge save. Cleto Walme made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Duffensores Springfield could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
