Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 33 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 巩响默 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when 苏希城 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 苏希城 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but 苏希城 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 38th minute. CJ Kane charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed CJ Kane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 苏希城 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 苏希城 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, CJ Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot. 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's supporters rose to their feet, but CJ Kane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, CJ Kane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 苏希城 took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 苏希城 in the 64th minute of play. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvio Gaztea in the 66 minute of the game. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, 苏希城 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's 苏希城 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Kane came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's 苏希城. But to his dismay, 苏希城 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 苏希城 in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, 苏希城 notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 上海嘉定鱼腩俱乐部队's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
