Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 3rd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by MAFFIAN's Gunde Svan. But to his dismay, Gunde Svan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gunde Svan. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes in the game Kristoffer Nyberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alex Vallin. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 31st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. George Svensson came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Thomas Wassberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Wassberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If George Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 42nd minute, but Jonathan Ferrant got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Venezuela hanging dry this time. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 47th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Wassberg in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristoffer Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Hugo Nyman replaced Rudolf Josefsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. In the 66thth minute of the game Thomas Wassberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aron Dahlbom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thomas Wassberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MAFFIAN's Dennis Edström was substituted for George Svensson. MAFFIAN's Alex Vallin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Dennis Edström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Edström in the 82nd minute of the match. When Torgny Mogren came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the MAFFIAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Mogren couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the game, Kristoffer Nyberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAFFIAN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Nyberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 91st minute. Michel Kjellkvist was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. Aron Dahlbom went to the wrong direction when Tomas Illescas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MAFFIAN fully deserved thier win.
