When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, 泾县Red-Star FC's goalkeeper 唐剑振 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, 泾县Red-Star FC's 袁朗辉 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of 泾县Red-Star FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when 袁朗辉 came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 34th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 范康烽 in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, 泾县Red-Star FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 安柯 to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, 范康烽 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. 范康烽 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. 袁朗辉 struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 泾县Red-Star FC. After 59 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 唐剑振 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After taking down the ball on El Salvador's corner Mateo Leguizamo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 唐剑振 quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when 袁朗辉 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, 袁朗辉 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 袁朗辉 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 范康烽, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes, 范康烽 made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes, Luis Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the 泾县Red-Star FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Moises Fernandino fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Moises Fernandino a yellow card for diving instead. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Luis Rubio got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Luis Rubio off the ground. Luis Rubio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 泾县Red-Star FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
