Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Décio Rola kicked off to start the match. Décio Rola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Roger Fagrell came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Décio Rola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Décio Rola in the 22nd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Décio Rola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Décio Rola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Décio Rola tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Sjötorp IF's Sebastian Qvarnström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Montenegro in the 60 minute of the game. A hard shot 64 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Roger Fagrell managed to make a qualified save. Sjötorp IF's players were relieved. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roger Fagrell could save by the left post. If Gunnar Ahlerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sjötorp IF made a substitution. Andreas Alm replaced Décio Rola. With a little luck, Sjötorp IF's Roger Fagrell got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sjötorp IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Roger Fagrell, making the score, 1-3. Sjötorp IF's attentive Gunnar Ahlerot managed to snatch the ball when Luis Andino made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Gunnar Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Sjötorp IF's Andreas Alm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
