But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Radoslaw Pilipiec made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Biala Gwiazda SSA's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Pilipiec came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Radoslaw Pilipiec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cezary Adamczak's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Biala Gwiazda SSA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
