Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Wassberg got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aron Dahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Wassberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as MAFFIAN's Thomas Wassberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Thomas Wassberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Thomas Wassberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Vallin in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Säfström to maneuver through the defense. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 60th minute. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Dennis Edström replaced George Svensson. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Hugo Nyman replaced Rudolf Josefsson. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Östen Vennersten, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Kristoffer Nyberg got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Vallin. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Torgny Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAFFIAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Torgny Mogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Aron Dahlbom made a huge save. After 73 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Mogren. After 75 minutes, Torgny Mogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Torgny Mogren kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Edström came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Torgny Mogren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gunde Svan who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Edström in the 97th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The MAFFIAN players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
