Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of the match. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Sarandi the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. If Leonides Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Vasco Olarticoechea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 29 minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Leonides Rosio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Rosio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio. But to his dismay, Leonides Rosio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 36 minutes, Leonides Rosio made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonides Rosio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. A hard shot 43 in the game by Leonides Rosio from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ivan Errando was substituted for Venancio Piorno. Lester Serre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 60th minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Lorenzo Jerrold replaced Leonides Rosio. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Ryszard Luty made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lorenzo Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Jerrold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Ceferino Cuervo replaced Elias Honrio. The throw-in from Ryszard Luty in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Lorenzo Jerrold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. If Ceferino Cuervo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Cuervo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Jerrold in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Lorenzo Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. San Lorenzo de Sarandi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
