Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Rola in the 11th minute of play. Roger Fagrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Décio Rola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Gunnar Ahlerot's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Ahlerot helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sjötorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very nice done corner allowed Cristian Sancho to score against Roger Fagrell in Sjötorp IF's goal. 0-2 after 22 minutes. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Roger Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Fagrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Fagrell was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Décio Rola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Fagrell having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Décio Rola to make the kick off. In the 52nd play minute Agustín Saelices came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roger Fagrell. 0-4. Roger Fagrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 58th minute. The supporters of Sjötorp IF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Fagrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 64 minute of play. Sjötorp IF's Andreas Alm was substituted for Décio Rola. In the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger Fagrell came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play forced Sjötorp IF's goalkeeper Roger Fagrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Juan Sebastián Puig with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Sjötorp IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
