Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With 4 minutes on the clock, Cesar Cebollero commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Heartbreakers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Heartbreakers:s Miguel Calero showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Miguel Calero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Calero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Calero was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Miguel Calero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Juan Sebastián Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Barrutia got free with Julio Vera in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Heartbreakers were awarded a corner. Robinho Leme went to the cornerflag to take it. Heartbreakers's Robinho Leme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 41st match minute, Heartbreakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Reisz to maneuver through the defense. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heartbreakers's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Heartbreakers getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Octavio Larpe hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Calero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 56th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Calero. Heartbreakers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Heartbreakers's Matei Ţiţeica was substituted for Cai Cheng Sang. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Jordan came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Carmeneses recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Heartbreakers's Osmundo Tehas got a free kick in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Miguel Calero to make any attempt to save it. Matei Ţiţeica scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Heartbreakers's Mete Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Calero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Enrique Carmeneses's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Michael Jordan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heartbreakers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Michael Jordan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
