Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Maxim Gogea made the kick off and thus started the match. Gao Fei Zheng struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Nerysminne. After 4 played minutes BK Nerysminne got a freekick which was hit by Lucas-Ignacio Torres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Westergren in the 6th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Maxim Gogea made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute Emil Westergren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Westergren went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute Gao Fei Zheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Gogea in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Eliseu Calado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Calado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Westergren in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Maxim Gogea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Gogea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea. But to his dismay, Maxim Gogea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 35th minute, Maxim Gogea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Nerysminne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maxim Gogea in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Gogea in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanimir Dragnev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Nerysminne the free kick. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Gogea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Gogea in the 46th minute of play. If Eliseu Calado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BK Nerysminne's Bror Hanmark was substituted for Maxim Gogea. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Nerysminne were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Emil Westergren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BK Nerysminne's Eric Skog got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, Bror Hanmark notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, BK Nerysminne's Bror Hanmark dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Gao Fei Zheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Calado came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bror Hanmark got free with Benito Sanz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Westergren in the 93rd minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bror Hanmark's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. BK Nerysminne played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
