An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play forced Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Alessio Treglia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessio Treglia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Lanckneus struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mechita F.C. 23 minutes into the game, Richard Lanckneus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. The supporters of Mechita F.C booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alessio Treglia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alessio Treglia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Teobaldo Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Lanckneus to strike the kick off in the second half. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Lanckneus in the 53rd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Alessio Treglia made a huge save. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mechita F.C's Richard Lanckneus. But to his dismay, Richard Lanckneus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Mechita F.C made a substitution. Romulo Rafel replaced Teobaldo Jenaro. Mechita F.C's Alessio Treglia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 65th minute of play. Alessio Treglia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Lanckneus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mechita F.C's Alessio Treglia got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessio Treglia having to make a save. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mechita F.C's goalkeeper Alessio Treglia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Mechita F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Quinito. Mechita F.C made a substitution. Edelmiro Velasco replaced Richard Lanckneus. The supporters of Chile booed when Mechita F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mechita F.C's Alessio Treglia got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Velasco in the 84th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alessio Treglia firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 91st minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Mariano Lacasa made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Mechita F.C's Alessio Treglia managed to reach the ball for a save. Mariano Lacasa got in the 91st minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Alessio Treglia. This was a shot which ended in a score of 3-3. Alessio Treglia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute. The throw-in from Henry Gonzales in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Felix Garrido. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Alessio Treglia made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
