The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Azly Hsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Mathews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Roberto Ocampo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilhelm Falkrantz. Roberto Ocampo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Nagrand's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
