Alfonso Lluis struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falckner FC. In the 71st minute, Edgardo Lleir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Joanes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Silverio Mazuste's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Mazuste helped the player get up and apologised. Silverio Mazuste hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Remigio Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Remigio Joanes. Falckner FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 84 played minutes Falckner FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Lluis. 87 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Joanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luis Filipo hit a great ball. Falckner FC's Jonas Urbez got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Falckner FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panama.
