An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emilio Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emilio Munio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Emilio Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emilio Munio quite easily take care of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalkeeper Emilio Munio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Emilio Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Mancebo during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Achraf Hakimi was substituted for Pepo Hachak. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 45 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. Luis Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Su to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Acercate Y Patea de Lejos defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Munio. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Munio should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Damian Su tried to sneak it across the goal line. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Gipuzkoa in the 59th minute. The corner ended in Teodosio Bilintx almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Federico Colas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acercate Y Patea de Lejos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Emilio Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Munio. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 80 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Munio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Emilio Munio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kraig Rowley might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Rowley ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Rowley in the 88th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Emilio Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Venceslas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Achraf Hakimi made in the 94th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kraig Rowley immediately put the ball in play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
