Jorge Iztal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute of the match. After 43 minutes of play, Espirillo FC's Gregorio Hotz made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 46th minute of play. When Chile's Orlando Casaus in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Espirillo FC throughout the match.
