In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind 9 Lurah's goalkeeper Cahya Latuconsina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to 9 Lurah getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zbigniew Wiater hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. In the 28th minute, Kader Bekas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüknettin Toygar in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to 9 Lurah getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Qiu Yi Sang hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cahya Latuconsina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Putut Manoppo. The supporters of 9 Lurah booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Rüknettin Toygar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes 9 Lurah got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Wiater. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüknettin Toygar in the 50th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Putut Manoppo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of 9 Lurah:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peru:s goal. In the 69th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadi Zamani in the 80th minute of the match. Cahya Latuconsina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Cahya Latuconsina in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Fraga to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Peru's Milagros Fraga got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cahya Latuconsina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Surat Cinta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 9 Lurah.
