Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibor Pucheli got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tibor Pucheli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 17th minute, Zoltán Kozák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FlagellumDei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. FlagellumDei's Siro Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th match minute, FlagellumDei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Károly Berta to maneuver through the defense. Siro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of FlagellumDei booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Tibor Pucheli hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Zoltán Kozák received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Zoltán Kozák slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute FlagellumDei were awarded a corner. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Ferrant had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Tibor Pucheli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 58 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Siro Osasun managed to make a qualified save. FlagellumDei's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 61st minute of play forced FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Zoltán Kozák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FlagellumDei fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Osasun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Siro Osasun. That made the score 3-2 in the 74 minute of play. Tibor Pucheli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Berta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Tibor Pucheli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FlagellumDei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Pucheli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FlagellumDei players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
