Denis Stanislao might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Stanislao ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Stanislao in the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Denis Stanislao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacronas Futbol Club's Denis Stanislao got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Sidro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sacronas Futbol Club booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Sacronas Futbol Club could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
