Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. S. D. Águilas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Magdaleno got free with Julio Vera in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Americo Herena. S. D. Águilas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. Americo Herena came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Herena having to interfere. Americo Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Cuarto. S. D. Águilas were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacinto Marquez took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jacinto Marquez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced S. D. Águilas's goalkeeper Americo Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Americo Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Agustín Saelices made a precise shot to the right of Americo Herena. S. D. Águilas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Txordon in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Jacinto Marquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saul Txordon was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, S. D. Águilas's goalkeeper Americo Herena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 57 minutes into the game, S. D. Águilas's Saul Txordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 60 minutes into the match, S. D. Águilas's Fernando Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Saul Txordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Txordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Herena having to interfere. With a little luck, S. D. Águilas's Americo Herena got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Americo Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Saul Txordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when S. D. Águilas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hazar Geçimoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Saul Txordon notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
