The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marek Torm made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Lauro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. In the 57th minute Vladimiro Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per-Olof Vallmark was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikingos FC's players had a chance to rest. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. With his leg Sebastián Sosa managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Colombia's Abram Secada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ladislao Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikingos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Erramu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 86 minutes, Abram Secada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Secada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ladislao Erramu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Vikingos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Erramu couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vikingos FC had won after a very even match.
