Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Herena saved S. D. Águilas from getting behind. Americo Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, S. D. Águilas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Americo Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, S. D. Águilas's Saul Txordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the S. D. Águilas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Americo Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Txordon in the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Secada in the 38th minute of play forced S. D. Águilas's goalkeeper Americo Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Joshua Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Americo Herena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Delmar Cuarto scored 3-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of S. D. Águilas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

S. D. Águilas made a substitution. José Sosa replaced Timoteo Isauro. After having played for 53 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Delmar Cuarto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When S. D. Águilas's Delmar Cuarto in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Águilas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Marquez in the 59th minute. S. D. Águilas's Saul Txordon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Delmar Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Delmar Cuarto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 74 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Americo Herena having to make a save. Americo Herena made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Magdaleno in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Delmar Cuarto made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Delmar Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by S. D. Águilas's Saul Txordon. But to his dismay, Saul Txordon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Americo Herena made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
