Robert Carlsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Xu Yi Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holer Nolan was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Robert Carlsson:s penalty. 43 minutes into the game, Marko Vennerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Gonzez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Gonzez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gonzez were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
