Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Ursino in the 11th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Adam Kiepski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Julian Pepillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Kiepski came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 52nd minute, Julian Pepillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adam Kiepski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Kiepski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adam Kiepski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Ursino hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Adam Kiepski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Saul Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Quien Te iba a Decir..... was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play forced Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Adam Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
