Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Samba Fotboll U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Sjö to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Sjödin having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Sjö. Ivar Sjödin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Arturo Carvallo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Carvallo couldn't finish the play. Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Sjödin was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Samba Fotboll U21's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gisbert came free, but Ivar Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Francisco Seco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 37th minute of play forced Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Ivar Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Sjödin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Escribano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41stth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aron Wennersten was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Ivar Sjödin made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Ivar Sjödin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59th play minutes Francisco Seco shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Ivar Sjödin and just under the crossbar into goal. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivar Sjödin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ivar Sjödin came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some careless play in the Samba Fotboll U21 defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Sjödin. The Samba Fotboll U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Sjödin should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin. Ivar Sjödin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Samba Fotboll U21 booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivar Sjödin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maximiliano Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 82 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Ivar Sjödin managed to make a qualified save. Samba Fotboll U21's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivar Sjödin. That made the score 0-10 in the 83 minute of play. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ivar Sjödin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Ivar Sjödin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
