A Veces Menos Es Mas's Genílson Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 18th minute of play. Zacharias Iosifakis scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jax Williamson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Dixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Genílson Loyola made a huge save. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Iosifakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toño Saura who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Leandro Tascon drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Canada's goalkeeper. 34 minutes into the match, Zacharias Iosifakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jax Williamson. Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacharias Iosifakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Richard Mccarthy struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Genílson Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canada. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Jan Dixon sped through A Veces Menos Es Mas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Genílson Loyola. With an all-out effort, Canada's Genílson Loyola threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carter George, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jan Dixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Loyola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Dixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Jax Williamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Iosifakis in the 53rd minute of play. Jan Dixon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genílson Loyola having to make a save. When Zacharias Iosifakis came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the A Veces Menos Es Mas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacharias Iosifakis couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Dixon in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Loyola saved A Veces Menos Es Mas from getting behind. Jan Dixon took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genílson Loyola. Genílson Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A Veces Menos Es Mas's 于耀延 was substituted for Ondino Asenjo. After some careless play in the A Veces Menos Es Mas defense, Filip Edwards kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genílson Loyola. The A Veces Menos Es Mas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genílson Loyola should have stopped the shot. A Veces Menos Es Mas's Gonzalo Mogel was substituted for Zacharias Iosifakis. Paolo-César Maldini hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Canada defense, Gonzalo Mogel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jax Williamson. The Canada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jax Williamson should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, A Veces Menos Es Mas's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but Genílson Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Filip Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genílson Loyola was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. Genílson Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Mccarthy, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, A Veces Menos Es Mas's Gonzalo Mogel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jax Williamson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The Canada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching A Veces Menos Es Mas's performance. The match ended with a win for A Veces Menos Es Mas.
