An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Giardino in the 2nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Giardino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Giardino came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Walter Giardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Sá made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santino Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but José Sá made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Walter Giardino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 minutes of play, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Walter Giardino made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Axel Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but José Sá firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to tHe SOnS of rAGnar getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Grigoris Kornaros hit a great ball. With a little luck, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walter Giardino made a kick off. In the 51st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Alexandris, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Giardino in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute tHe SOnS of rAGnar were awarded a corner. Grigoris Kornaros went to the cornerflag to take it. José Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 64th minute of the match. tHe SOnS of rAGnar made a substitution. Ulysses Matorin replaced Kosmas Salaminiotis. In the 68th match minute, tHe SOnS of rAGnar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiz Biembengén to maneuver through the defense. José Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Grigoris Kornaros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. José Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santino Seco to maneuver through the defense. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's José Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. tHe SOnS of rAGnar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
