Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Nichifor Codruț tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by F.C.BARLAD's Marcu Filimon. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 24th minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Wojtek Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Nichifor Codruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Nichifor Codruț left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.BARLAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eric Pârlea kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 37 minutes, Florin Aalexoaiei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C.BARLAD and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to F.C.BARLAD getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Florin Aalexoaiei hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wojtek Szczęsny saved F.C.BARLAD from getting behind. Braulio Castel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. F.C.BARLAD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Codruț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 52nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. F.C.BARLAD's Marcu Filimon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 58 minute of the game. After 58 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Nichifor Codruț made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. F.C.BARLAD's attentive Marcu Filimon managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Valentin Verzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. F.C.BARLAD were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dumitru Surdu took the corner. Florin Aalexoaiei was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, F.C.BARLAD's Braulio Castel made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 87th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. F.C.BARLAD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
