Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, A. Korn's Ramon Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Cornel Vulpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. A. Korn's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Vulpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Zbigniew Fedosz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Prudencio Ovando hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. With an all-out effort, A. Korn's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornel Vulpe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind A. Korn's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Fillol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ramon Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Matildo Fillol saved A. Korn from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in A. Korn's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Ruben Salvator made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ramon Diaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a huge save. After 54 minutes A. Korn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ubaldo Matildo Fillol in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A. Korn made a substitution. Cirilo Urki replaced Ramon Diaz. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Vulpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Cirilo Urki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Urki in the 67th minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Urki went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Cirilo Urki put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Urki's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Salvator, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Ubaldo Matildo Fillol in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after A. Korn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 94th minute of play. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of play.
