With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Umea Sorzano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Feo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandre Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Azubeli came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
