After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Bai Peng Ning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Bai Peng Ning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henning Skager made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bai Peng Ning however managed to control. In the 39th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Rojas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Brian Wållander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Lundberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. It was Svenne Berka who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bai Peng Ning almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Rigoberto Mina was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Nusnäs IF a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bai Peng Ning, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nusnäs IF had won after a very even match.
