Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but 冯悦振 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. 马威震 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 马威震 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by 马威震 in the 39th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 冯悦振 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 41st minute of play. 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's 张星宇 got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 冯悦振 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

冯悦振 was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Eliseo Noboa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Noboa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes of play, 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's 马威震 made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but 冯悦振 made a huge save. A collision led to 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. 鲁飞耀 hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 冯悦振 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's 洪寒扬 got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
