Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luz Tejedor in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesário Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Cesário Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesário Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AVTK's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesário Santiago came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79thth minute of the game Luz Tejedor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVTK's Cesário Santiago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AVTK's Cesário Santiago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
