Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Guillem was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Efrain Guillem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Flores Arlt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Efrain Guillem quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play forced Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Efrain Guillem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Efrain Guillem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Peru booed when Flores Arlt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Guillem came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 41 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Guillem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Efrain Guillem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Flores Arlt players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Marcial Ourente made the kick off in the second half. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Efrain Guillem made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Lin Wei Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Guillem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 60th minute of the match. Flores Arlt made a substitution. Sabin Răchită replaced Marcial Ourente. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Flores Arlt's Artemio Cheche. In the 72nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Răchită in the 76th minute of play. Efrain Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Guillem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Efrain Guillem made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Peru's Milagros Fraga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gerardo Bedoya, made in the 90th minute of the game. Flores Arlt's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rafael Gallo 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. The Flores Arlt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
