Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marcial Ourente made the kick off which started today's match. Efrain Guillem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Guillem having to interfere. In the 9th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flores Arlt's Gerardo Bedoya got a free kick in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Gerardo Bedoya threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Efraim Gilabert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Efrain Guillem quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Guillem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efrain Guillem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Prats to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Ourente went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Flores Arlt made a substitution. Sabin Răchită replaced Marcial Ourente. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Flores Arlt's Sabin Răchită. But to his dismay, Sabin Răchită quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sabin Răchită might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sabin Răchită ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Răchită, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Efrain Guillem to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Julian Murillo sped through Flores Arlt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efrain Guillem. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Sabin Răchită sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. With 89 minutes on the clock, Lin Wei Feng commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Flores Arlt fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
