Bartolo Argina hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play forced Vaqueteros FC's goalkeeper Javier Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tosun Paşa in the 6th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Moises Gayoso in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vaqueteros FC's Venancio Victoro. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Tono was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Tosun Paşa had several of the Peru's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rolando Noboa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cai Wei Xu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Vaqueteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Stroescu. In the 30th minute, Tosun Paşa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tosun Paşa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Tono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Vaqueteros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Blai to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tosun Paşa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Tosun Paşa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Tosun Paşa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaqueteros FC made a substitution. Angelo Haitz replaced Bartolo Argina. Alexandru Stroescu made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leroy Sane however managed to control. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fikret Uluğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Fikret Uluğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fikret Uluğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leroy Sane in the 78th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Uluğ came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaqueteros FC's Javier Tono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Vaqueteros FC from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Julian Murillo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Javier Tono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leroy Sane, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vaqueteros FC had won after a very even match.
