Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Celipe Segurola quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Venceslao Mayllar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodney Emmanuel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inguma Madama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Ernso Constant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inguma Madama was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute, Jonathan Alphonse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inguma Madama was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Santiago Lagrana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Dorval, made in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes in the game Philippe Ambroise did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ernso Constant. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernso Constant in the 34th minute of play. Inguma Madama came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse. But to his dismay, Jonathan Alphonse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Veremundo Ascarretazabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venceslao Mayllar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celipe Segurola to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Gesner Philippe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gesner Philippe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Brais Montiel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Inguma Madama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 65th minute. Philippe Ambroise charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philippe Ambroise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Philippe Ambroise kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gesner Philippe's late challenge caught a Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gesner Philippe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Gesner Philippe got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Raymond Louis hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Brais Montiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters rose to their feet, but Brais Montiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Ernso Constant fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Araoz Troncoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernso Constant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Inguma Madama made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Philippe Ambroise reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inguma Madama. The goal made the score 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Haiti had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
