The referee ignored Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's protests and gave Leonardo Baelo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leonardo Baelo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as El Salvador's Moises Fernandino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inguma Madama. That made the score 4-1 after 18 minutes of play. Inguma Madama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inguma Madama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 75th minute of play. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's Inguma Madama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Abram Luque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inguma Madama made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. 92 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Luis Rubio got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
