After having played for 10 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sun Cheng Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 魔人布欧's Sun Cheng Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes in the game, 石乐彬 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, 林云延 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. 林云延 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by 杜镇梁 in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Xavier Zoido. A collision led to 魔人布欧 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. 顾明希 hit a great ball. 林云延 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Sun Cheng Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

魔人布欧 made a substitution. 赵宁树 replaced 林云延. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 赵宁树 to make the kick off. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sun Cheng Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 石乐彬 couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, 姜誉誉 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Sun Cheng Hong. 魔人布欧's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 72nd minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Jaime Pardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alan Campos charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Campos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by 赵宁树 in the 86th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute 赵宁树 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 赵宁树 went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
