The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ediberto Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Maximum Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Maximum Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Koulouris to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kaido Narusson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stathis Koulouris hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiit Jaas. The goal made the score 0-2. The supporters of Maximum Power booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaido Narusson in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ecuador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
