An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Šedina in the 12th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Matos got free with Pavel Hanka in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Šedina in the 18th minute of play. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Šedina in the 22nd minute of play. Robert Šedina scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Rexino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severin Kotrulev hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Robert Šedina made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Rexino. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Šedina in the 28th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavel Hanka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nildo Matos in the 32nd minute of the match. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Šedina, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The throw-in from Severin Kotrulev in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Czech Republic's Martin Berki. Aurelio Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Šedina in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Robert Šedina notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino. Aurelio Rexino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Matos made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Šedina came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Severin Kotrulev in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Czech Republic's Čeněk Laňka. 56 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Šedina came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Šedina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Rexino having to interfere. Aurelio Rexino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Šedina in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-6. 85 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Czech Republic's Aurelio Rexino threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michal Stehno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Czech Republic's Robert Šedina in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seagulls's goalie prevented a goal. Robert Šedina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Czech Republic's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jan Plocek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Rexino made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's Michal Stehno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Rexino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Šedina in the 95th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 minutes Seagulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Čeněk Laňka who took care of the corner kick. When the match was over Czech Republic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seagulls throughout the match.
