Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Franco Sampler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 5th play minute Kent Lindberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Lacasa. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Lindberg came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franco Sampler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kent Lindberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Sampler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macos Graciani made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Kent Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Franco Sampler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Mercado Paulista F.C made a substitution. Cristian de Lima replaced Kent Lindberg. In the 53rd minute Cristian de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macos Graciani made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. In the 61st match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Hitz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mercado Paulista F.C getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. La Fuente hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Franco Sampler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Franco Sampler was a little too slow when Facundo Cadaval got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 77th minute of the match Mercado Paulista F.C got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hans Doss ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hans Doss got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Cristian de Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After 92 minutes, Paulino Elequemedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercado Paulista F.C and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mercado Paulista F.C's Paulino Elequemedo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
