After some careless play in the CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludomil Ziomkowski. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludomil Ziomkowski should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Afonso da Cunha in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match, Eustacio Ikatz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marco Day was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 41 minutes into the game, Sahnoyan Ayyıldız cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Ziomkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Afonso da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Rambo von Buol-Schaudenstein was substituted for Virgiawan Laturua. Ludomil Ziomkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 68th minute of play. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. 91 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Emanuele Bertoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Vidal to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
