A collision led to Rega Merida CF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Yaroslav Svitlychnyi hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Konstanty Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. Rega Merida CF's attentive Yaroslav Svitlychnyi managed to snatch the ball when Emmanuel Reyes made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Konstanty Wawro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Arnăuțescu to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstanty Wawro was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by La Piszczek in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Konstanty Wawro was a little too slow when Julian Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 62nd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 65th minute, Nistor Sârban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Konstanty Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstanty Wawro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstanty Wawro was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Abdulhamit Beycan made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Yaroslav Svitlychnyi made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konrad Knopek's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Eliseo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rega Merida CF throughout the match.
