Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off which started today's match. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Xarilaou FC's Kostas Kourmouzis got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Chile's Gerardo Pozo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gerardo Pozo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gerardo Pozo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 9th minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. Orlando Casaus struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Kostas Kourmouzis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Loubakis in the 23rd minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Xarilaou FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. The supporters of Chile booed when Xarilaou FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Fasoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Skaltsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Skaltsas in the 29th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xarilaou FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fanis Skaltsas took the corner. After taking down the ball on Xarilaou FC's corner Fanis Skaltsas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Casaus might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Kourmouzis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Casaus ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thodoris Loubakis was the one to do the kick off. Thodoris Loubakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Guillermo Fontirroig didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Chile's Orlando Casaus got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xarilaou FC's Kostas Kourmouzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 72nd minute of play. Thodoris Loubakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Xarilaou FC got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Kapelis. Mariano Lacasa, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Skaltsas in the 92nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Stratos Kabantais got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
