Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Micky Capusotto started the match with the kick off. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Fortun charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Fortun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, Panama's Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hilario Ramos. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micky Capusotto in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Lluciano during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Lluciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hilario Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilario Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 16th minute. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Baltasar Fortun hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Abalos in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Cosme Shantala got a free kick in the 24th minute. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Hilario Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play. Hilario Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 31st minute. A nice corner shot did that Alex Cambeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hilario Ramos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Abraham Alguacil made a precise shot to the right of Hilario Ramos. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Hilario Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Ramos saved Deportivo Pomelo Nenene from getting behind. Hilario Ramos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Fulgencio Javiero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Cambeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Ramos having to interfere. The supporters of Panama booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
