Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Leicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezmi Gök in the 9th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Rydberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Arnoldo Leicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezmi Gök in the 31st minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnoldo Leicea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnoldo Leicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezmi Gök made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnoldo Leicea. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Mina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Leicea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Leicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnoldo Leicea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MarineerS FK from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Valentin Rydberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Rydberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
