Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gastres FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ongile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Eddy Ginanjar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Geronimo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 10th minute of the match. Eddy Ginanjar made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zacarias Claus. Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. Geronimo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Teobaldo Belmiro sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teobaldo Belmiro to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geronimo Ongile quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 56th minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Zurawski. Geronimo Ongile acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eddy Ginanjar, made in the 61st minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Geangu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Benjamin Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gastres FC's Egemen Aldemir got a free kick in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobaldo Belmiro during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Peru booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. After having played for 83 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Ongile having to make a save. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
