Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Narciso Bertassi made the kick off which started today's match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, Betão Prestes threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 15th minute of the game Betão Prestes made a throw-in which Narciso Bertassi played forward. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Claudio Echeverri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 21st minute of play. Claudio Echeverri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bertassi in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Bertassi. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Egoi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 34th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Betão Prestes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Telesforo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 52 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Betão Prestes who took care of the corner kick. Claudio Echeverri made a great header on Cable a Tierra's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Betão Prestes got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Egoi in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Narciso Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cable a Tierra's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Bertassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saverio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Sigali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Leonides Telesforo threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st match minute, Cable a Tierra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes, Claudio Echeverri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cable a Tierra and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Echeverri. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cable a Tierra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
